Week Two

We are off to a great start!  Thanks to all of you who responded to the first week's post.  If you did not get a chance to answer last week's prompt you are still able to do so.  I appreciate everyone's efforts, I know this is a new experience for everyone.  Feel free to respond to one another

This week's question is:  How can your HHI teacher best support you?

    My HHI teacher can best support me by understanding me and how I am feeling, and help me through my studies.

    Great question/prompt! We can assume that the best support is getting the work to the student and helping the earn good grades and credit. But it seems that just as important is listening and being there as a connection to school.

    My HHI teacher can best support me by making my lessons interesting and helping me catch up without too much pressure

    HHI teachers help out a lot by understanding how you're feeling and not giving you a hard time.. Communication is a big key to success when it comes to teacher / student understanding. Sometimes it was hard for me to tell my HHI teachers that they were moving too fast or that I needed more time. My parents would help me communicate any struggles I had with my teacher and things would get better.

As part of my own educational journey, I am starting this blog as a place for students to share their thoughts.  Home Hospital Instruction is my job but supporting others is a passion. It is my hope that this blog will develop into a place that feels supportive for the students who are invited to participate.  This is a safe place for a select group of students to express themselves and learn from their peers and the teachers who support them.
